Social Marketing
Social
Marketing sites have flooded the internet. While they provide a
tremendous platform for reaching the masses, most have become lost in
how to engage these tools. The greatest challenge has been identifying
the best use of each, in order to prevent overlapping content and or
work.
Example… WordPress is a great place to post articles and blogs,
but why would you put them there and not on your own website? Is there a
reason? What is the best practice. Should my entire website be on
WordPress? WoredPress has it’s merits, but proper use thereof will
require a proper understanding of it’s rolls.
Just last night, I
received a call from a marketer, proposing to establish WordPress and
Twitter marketing for my company. He could not explain a systemic
difference between what would be on the WordPress site, verses my own
corporate site. I continually came around to… “Why don’t you present me
with your plan on connecting my corporate site and blog to Twitter,
explain to me why you want to add another site in the mix with
additional content, pulling traffic from my corporate site.” Now, there
are valid answers, he was inept to entertain the conversation.
Each
of the social mediums I list below, have and can be used in contrast to
my presentation. My presentation seeks to give a global and systemic
view and association of each.
Constant Contact (Subscribed To You)..Email Subscription and Newsletter Manager…This is one, there are many similar services
YouTube (Talking You)..Demonstrate expertise in industry..Mention Product/Service up coming….Point to Word of Mouth Venue.

PRWeb

many will allow link backs, further promoting your press release.
